This is a new month and day, and so I thought to share my story to encourage someone out there. I had a challenging experience few years back. It was indeed a tough time in my life. I thought my world was coming to an end. But through that trying time, I was led by the LORD to use my experience to support and inspire others. This is how I started writing on women, pregnancy, children parenting, relationship and then eventually daily devotionals.
Strength in God
I overcame my fears and pains by finding strength and peace in God’s Word. I cannot imagine how events would have turned out for me, without the WORD. I depended daily on it, I was encourage through my pain and tears; and trusted God to see me through.
Developed New Strengths
I have always loved to sing and so that is the gift I had been using for many years. Little did I know that God placed in me the ability to write and to speak to inspire others. As I responded to the Lord through writing, I became better at it each day and I received great responses from those who believed in me. I ignored all those who criticized me negatively and worked on my mistakes daily to become better at my writing skills.
Great Opportunities
Through developing my writing skills, I had opportunities to be hosted as panelist on Radio and TV shows as well received invitations to be speak at different events. It was not easy in the beginning, but I was willing to leave my comfort zone as long as it will inspire others and make me better with what I do.
The reason for this write-up is to motivate someone out there, never to allow a painful experience to stop you from living your dream. There is greatness in each one of us. Sometimes its takes a bitter or painful encounter to bring out that hidden, yet great talent in a person.
To my fellow women and professionals, do not allow anything or anyone to prevent you from trying something new. To that young lady or gentleman reading this, never limit yourself in what you can achieve.
Today by God’s Grace I am an Author of my latest published book called FRESH OIL DEVOTIONAL. I never thought I could do something like this, but God made it possible. I have written by Grace many devotionals and articles on women empowered, children well-being, parenting, relationships and many others, that have been great blessing. It’s about time you rise up above your fears, challenge yourself and believe that as long as you have life, any great achievement is very possible.
Remember that the only person who can stop you from reaching the top or achieving your dreams is you. Any achievement you see and admire was attained by someone who believed in himself, rose above challenging times, overcame his fears and embraced success because he never gave up and so should you.

‘Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths’.
